Phoenix Rising Counseling Services, LLC (PRCS), as a company, was created out of a passion and a desire to assist individuals, families, and communities in their time of need. It is our belief that when life seems it’s darkest and it seems as if there is no light at the end of the tunnel, there is in fact hope. We believe that “mental illness is not a choice, but recovery is.” Phoenix Rising Counseling Services, as a name, was created in the memory of our cousin, Phoenix, who at 23 felt that his life was at its darkest point and chose to end his fight for healing and recovery. It is because of these things that we are committed to each individual we serve.
It is the mission of PRCS to provide quality behavioral and mental health services and to work alongside individuals and families to promote safety, stability, and unity within their family, social, and community systems. We strive to empower individuals to develop the skills and resources needed to overcome life’s challenges through evidence-based interventions specific to their needs. PRCS works to meet each person where they are, to restore hope in their time of need, and to be a light in the darkness.
PRCS provides individual therapy, family therapy, couples therapy, group therapy, training and education, supervision and consultation, parenting classes, and assessments. We cover life’s challenges as it relates to anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, family discord, grief and loss, trauma, and a number of other things.
